It is in our nature to connect with others, this is something that has always come easy for me. As your photographer I hope that you will feel as connected to me as I am to you. It is an honor to be given the opportunity to share in such joyous moments with so many amazing people. So, Thank you! Thank you for taking the time to connect, if even just a for little bit, with who I am! I absolutely pray I get the chance to work with you very soon!

How Did I Start?

I can still remember the moment I took my first photo. My parents took me to historic Ellis Lake in Marysville, Ca. I was 6 years old. I don’t know why but my mom asked me to take a photo, as if I knew what I was doing. I set myself in a position that I thought looked best and “snap”, captured my parents in time. “Wow, this is actually pretty good!” My mother’s words made me feel so much joy and pride in that moment. A feeling that I still get to this day when delivering a gallery to a beautiful client!

High school photography class is where I really fell in love and decided it was my future career! My mom bought me a new digital camera, a canon, not sure the model, but I thought it was cool at the time. I took that camera everywhere with me, much like I do now. I ended up failing that class & thought I just wasn’t good enough to be a photographer. Turns out, I just wasn’t good at school!

The Start of my Photo Career

Fast forward to after my own wedding day. We had an amazing time and loved our photographer. That is, until after the wedding. She ghosted us, we got excuse after excuse as to why we weren’t receiving our photos! Finally my mom contacted her and was able to get the photos. It took us about six years before we were able to see all of our photos. Lets just say they were not good.

It was only after a few months of waiting for our photos that I decided I could do better and I didn’t want ANYONE to have to go through what my wife and I had gone through. I did my research and found the best, most professional mirrorless camera I could at the time and I began my career!
